I have the video all ready, I just have a problem with converting the file. I used Windows Movie Maker. It is what I have on the computer. Little did I know, I cannot convert the file it saves movies to. In addition, I cannot "send it to the web."

If there is anyone who is more computer savy than I am, please help with advise. I want to get many videos I have captured on the Buzz to view.

Gotto go! 8:23am. Gotta flop a Soiuxland Cottonwood...

Jamin, what version of Windows movie maker are you currently using? Did you save the file as a project(.mswmm) or did you save it as a movie(.wmv)?

Did you try uploadingto a site like youtube? You sign up with them and then upload it from your computer. Im no expert but am asking the basics first.

Found this from a post Ekka did when I first tried. Hope it helps.
(When the vid is finished you save it in a variety of formats. WMV is around 5MB per minute, MPEG1 is 10MB per minute, MEG2 is around 100MB per min and so on. So you can see why when I put them on the net I use WMV, but if I were burning a disc for home use I would use AVI or DVD)

Allmark is right on it, now all you have to do is open your saved file with Windows Movie Maker and go to File > Save Movie File. There you can save as .wmv or dv-avi and the others that Allmark mentioned.

Some of those programs are killer if you don't have enough RAM or are running an old processor.

With all the snow we have been getting you've got a good excuse to stay in and work on the video.

Wow!

12:12am and I am still working on this. I'm shortening and re-editing the video. It was originally captured at 24 minutes. I first edited it down to 15 min. Now I am getting it down lower. I am working on adding music too.

Technically, I have a job scheduled tomorrow. Let's see what mother nature brings. I just may not go to work. However, bills keep looking at me, so that is the only incentive to working in cold weather.
