All the weird online disputes I've been in over the years. Started out battling with a handful of southern U.S. rec climbers when I was first learning the ropes. Well... even though I'm not a Yankees fan I was "the Yankee" ;-)
My favorite line was from an Alabama climber, we'd canoed deep into some bottomland swamp old-growth. "This Yankee cooking isn't bad!" Ha. It was just stuff from a local market cooked fresh over a campfire. We'd resolved our differences by the time I mixed a Florida climber's moonshine with my Yankee coffee somewhere around midnight.
