Man Im just glad you didnt get a restraining order against me for the constant FB and Tree Buzz PMs. Thanks again for what I consider the latest and greatest thing to come along to our industry in a long time.

One of the best tree climbing videos Jesse! Gotta love the lava rocks at the end.
What diameter is that red static(?) line.
Crazy Jimmy is down from Ft Worth and this morning a handful of us are doing a rope wrench climb on one of the biggest live oaks in Austin. There will be no shortage of redirects on that tree. Four climbers, four wrenches.. should be fun

Ok fine, I cleaned the roof off and will reshoot after my nap. Also, upon closer inspection, it does appear I touched the ground with my foot. DQ

Heres another one.
I wanted to show the entire climb for the most part.
The whole thing took 17 minutes with setting the line and then tearing it down. Way fun
I started at the front door and would have made in the back door had I not forgoten to unlock it. After all that, I died in the lava.

I did it bro. Thanks for the idea. The 1st 20 feet out the door was VERY hard. It wore my A$$ out so I was tired when the vid started. The only thing better than a rope wrench is 2 rope wrenchs

Some things that come to mind about the working srt with the RW
1.Obviously, there is no friction. Its the same from the time you leave the ground to the time you hit the ground.
2. You can spin around and your climbing system never gets twisted.
3. Its one handed. You CAN easily descend MID swing.
4.Slack tends as easy as the UNI but you can descend on it with no BSwraps or figure eights or munter hitches....or broken ankles...or shitted up undies
5. To ME..IT feels BETTER than DRT. The RW takes the friction so your hitch NEVER locks up like traditional DRT hitches.
6. I was BOMBING FAST, and my beeline is not even the slightest bit glazed.
7. Freedom of movement.
8 Its nice to have under your belt when applying at Limbwalkers
9. Leave that friction saver in the bag, the rope IS the friction saver.

Any Buzzer is welcome at my house anytime. Better hurry though. The pines are in a fight for survival. Not sure how many years left.. There used to be 3 Trees.One failed at the base. One of the remaining two lost a HUGE lead last year and the sun is really taking a toll on all the exposed wood. Good news is that they are growing like CRAZY on the tips...putting more weight on the end(not so good) since many of the leads are cracked already.

If midline attacheable is a big deal. The ZK-1 is easily modded to accomodate . you didn't hear it from me though.
