mini skid between cab and chipper box of F450????

Long time lurker, but first time poster. I'm trying to build a solid rig for the upcoming season. I have a 2001 f450 that im about to mount a 9 foot chipper box on. I can sit the box far enough back on the chassis to leave me about 44 inches between the box and the cab. The space is just about perfect to fit a toro tx425 wide track. Am I a little ambitious thinking the f450 will be able to handle a full chipper box and mini skid plus a 5800 pound chipper in tow? Aside from a few bridges, the area I live is very flat.
Appreciate any feedback.

Engine size?

My old truck was a Isuzu nqr with a 9' arbortech, and a 5' platform. It was 4 cylinder deisel...it worked. But it didn't have the power for hills in my area...burned up the tranny.

Before that, and before the platform, I had a 99 f450 7.3L...it had more power then my isuzu.. I think it would be plenty for you.

After a year with the Isuzu I upgraded to an international 4300, with a 11' arbortech and a the same 5' platform.
 
My international has a gvwr of 23,500 lbs. Fully loaded with chips, and mini on the platform, my truck weighed 24,700.

Haven't weighed it with the chipper

Bare in mind my box is 6' high X 11', and my mini weighs 30th lbs (650tx vermeer)

Just read that also. Im gonna go to the scale this week and see what it weighs with the chipper box. I think the dingo weighs about 2300lbs with an implement.

I just edited my above post saying my mini weighs 3000. Plus I had 7 sheets of 3/8 plywood and ramps in the platform box.

By dump box is also 6' high....where yours probably isn't....plus 2 feet shorter.
