It seems like each time someone on the ship came down with the virus, you'd have to reset the 14-day clock for everyone else on board. You'd have to go two weeks without a new case before anyone could leave the ship. Anyone wanting to leave early bears the expense of special transportation arrangements from the ship to the airport, the private flight to a stateside quarantine site, and the two-week stay there. That's probably going to be in the tens of thousands of dollars per person.

Latest reports are that sixty-one people on board the Diamond Princess have the virus. I don't see anyone getting off that ship any time soon unless they set up some kind of onshore quarantine facility in Japan for everyone on board.

Just spreading the word to hopefully get them some help.

@LiTreeService

That’s terrible for sure, feel bad for the 2! I sent him a message yesterday to keep hanging in there !

Just saw this. Thanks to all of you guys. We are holding in there. Like rugger said thank the lord for the balcony. They haven’t reset the clock yet and we are up to 170ish infected. So crazy. Hopefully there won’t be any issues by the 19. If it wasn’t for the wife, I would have srt my ass off of here. Thank you climbhigh for looking out. It is really wonderful to be apart of the arborist community.
