Maple Sap Evaporation by Wood Fired Burn Barrel ?

I’d be interested to know what he got. There’s a couple manufacturers within a reasonable range of travel. I’d like to go and actually put my hands on what I’m going to purchase. The sugar bush supply house near me is a Leader dealer. Their evaporators seem solid. They’re mighty proud of them though $$$.

I just heard back from my buddy he said he paid some like $600-800 and he sold it and doesn’t remember the manufacturer. But I know the guy he sold it to so I’m just waiting on a call back.

They are nice units but they feel light. Maybe because he bought the cheapest one I didn’t know.

DAMHIKT I burned out two of my ex's thawing heater cores because I didn't winterize the vehicles. She told me no more...even though I replaced the hair dryers. I then went and bought an industrial heat gun...that was over thirty years ago too LOL
