A man who fell from a tree he was trimming is strapped onto a stretcher before being loaded into a Springfield Township ambulance Monday. Officials at the scene said the man was complaining of back, neck and shoulder injuries. Because witnesses told emergency crews he had been unconscious for a period of time, Med- Flight was contacted to take him to a Columbus hospital. However, due to inclement weather, MedFlight could not fly, and he instead had to be driven in an ambulance. The man’s name and condition were not available at press time Monday night.
