Making a Move....

After 15 years at Heartwood, I am moving on. The move has nothing to do with me not liking Heartwood, just time for me to try something new.

I am moving to Louisville, KY with my family at the end of this year to start working with the Limbwalkers.

I am very sad to leave all of my friends here, my wonderful boss, and the company I have loved for the last 15 years, not to mention the East Coast's best rope swing. The "split" is very amicable, and both parties expect to see positive change as a result of this move.

Seize the day, right?

I can't tell you how jealous/proud I am of you. This is an epic move and Kentucky just got 45% cooler.

Heartwood is truely going to be missing you. I'm still trying to convince jess that Kentucky is for lovers....it's not going well.

I still hate you

Stephan. Your new avatar looks like the kid in the picture was helping you look for a lost puppy 30 minutes before this picture was taken.

Kids and there candy.

I like that you went there. It's important that a new dad can make light of pedophelia.

I'm not sure about that, Tom. I am concerned about the future of the CAA TCC, but hopefully someone will step up and continue the tradition of running a world class TCC.

Elections for Executive Committee are next month, I am making calls to see if anyone is interested in taking a leadership role, but not getting very far with that.

Louisville eh? Well Rich keeps telling me I need to head that way as well. Stephan, limbwalkers, and rich all in louisville sounds like a party I might not want to miss.

It will be a fine move - you are heading into bourbon country. You will make Colonel in no time.

Aren't you required by law to drink Mint Juleps too?

Could you just turn it into the Loiusville arborist association? louisville is closer to me than charlotte anyway.

A big reason for the move is to spend more time with my family. I am going to be very careful of over-volunteering in Louisville. Keeping my eye on the prize, which is quickly becoming the boss of the Peddlin Cobras, is my main goal.
