Major Decision

@Steve Connally I feel you should try to find a sub that you can use that can provide a big chipper and chip truck. I feel like you my find it much more profitable for yourself and easier to keep your self busy.
You won't have to advertise, but you know you'll have tons of people asking for quotes when you are out in it. Be able to give them one with a nice extra cushion in it.

Agreed. I'm sure I can find one for sure. There's so much going on trying to make this happen I need to stick with the initial model then adjust as necessary. I prerrt much figured that would happen but was just gone let it come to me but pursue the subbing. Make sense? I'm a little overwhelmed with details at this point.

Thank you. I'm navigating accounting stuff, invoicing, payment, insurance, details of the build, booking Jobs for when Rick Yoos brings his truck down here next week, blah blah blah. I can't get one task closed. I feel very not at peace.

Yea, nerve racking, mind consuming, sleepless nights, ...... but the pay off will be sweet. :D
I,ll be working on my class A after I get a big chipper. sure as heck be willing to travel for some storm work.

This is the stuff that everyone running a business deals with. This is the cost to play the game. The game is owning your own business. I remember it like it was yesterday..(because it was not that long ago for me) The vast majority of people who start their own business can not get through these tasks your facing. The ones that do reap the rewards and benefits. hang in their, because it does get a lot easier. In 4 years you'll be sitting back coating your stack of 1,000 dollar bills and wandering why you didn't do this when you were 35:)

I remember doing all this when I started my business years ago. The difference is I know what I'm doing now and trying to make it rite. When you know what you're doing, it's a lot more details to face. I'll get through it fine. What's frustrating to me is everything I need to more forward on is on hold because of someone else. I'm a closure kinda guy. The up side is, I have SJTreeguy coming down next week for 5 days. I sold 5 solid days of work and could have sold 10. Nobody even flinched when I gave them the daily rate. That encourages me that I might have made the rite decision moving in this direction.

Thats it man! Thats what I am taking about. I don't know if your remember but I said....once you start this you will be amazed at the possibilities and the doors that will open. It happened to me when I bought my crane. I can't believe the doors that have opened and the projects I am working on. Good things happen to good people!!
