Major Decision

All good questions, price depends on crane size and options. So I looked at the pk4002 and pk5002. They fell between $237,000-290,000. Chassis well that's a whole other deal. New $140,000 used $39,000-$80,000 for decent looking trucks. Time to build I was told it only takes 4 weeks. But your in line with other truck builds. I'm hoping to get mine and the end of August putting me at 5 months.

$60k for the cab and Chassis just under $300 for the build or around that. My boom is coming from Austria. I won't get the truck till December or January. Bad timing but I'm hopeful.

Does anyone happen to have the load chart for the pk5002 at hand? We run a stick crane and though production is unbelievably high I feel like at some point this in inevitable and I need to start planning for it to stay ahead of the curve in my territory.....

Here is what I'm still trying to figure out on palfinger's chart, you can do 5100 at 48' without the jib...and 2200 on jib with main boom fully extended (and jib collapsed) at a total of 54'. What weight can you lift with the jib (when everything is fully collapsed)? Or is 2200 your max anytime using the jib.

My fassi chart has a value for that, but it seems palfinger doesn't.

There is a main boom chart but you reduce the weights by about 3100lbs for the jib. The jib actually comes off in no time at all for full capacity. Can't remember exactly but it's over 15000 lbs
