Looking for several items (Climbing Gear)

If you got an injury that required pressure to stop the bleeding on one arm and your kit is all the way in the back of your harness, you would have to release the pressure while you tried to reach around and get the blood stopper. Might take some time as you can't see what you're doing. Somewhere more easily accessible might be better.
You also need one arm to descend so..... I think that it's still a good thing to have

Definitely need a first aid kit, I'm saying maybe find a better place on the harness.
A pulley, I like the Hitch Climber, as the side plates rotate stiffly, with a thin loop girth hitched to it, can be placed above your hitch and pulled with the teeth to give a hands free descent.

By the time you guys get out your bloodstopper kits, I'll be on the ground where if I pass out from blood loss, someone else can play doctor.
The only way I see those things as useful is as a backpad as has been mentioned, and to have something immediately available once you descend.
The most important first/self aid is being able to hit the ground within seconds, no matter what.

Okay, so I'm taking a 2 hour drive Saturday morning to the nearest arborist shop (Little Rock) as wifey and I are wanting to eat at the Hog Cafe (BBQ) and take a little vacation. All this summer heat and working 7 days a week, has me ready to jump in a swimming pool, so were defiantly finding a hotel with a pool. Long story short, going to take a little shopping trip for some gear.

They carry the Buck-Cat saddle (same as viking and puma) I believe, and also the Tree Motion light. Is the Tree Motion light really that more comfortable for an extra $150.00? Has anyone used both? I feel both, having a bridge will be a major step-up from D-Rings, and I don't mid spending an extra $150.00, but if I'm not getting more comfort while hanging or more motion and maneuverability, than I'd prefer to save some bucks. So can anyone tell me without a doubt that the Tree Motion S Light is that much more comfortable and gives more range of motion than the buck-cat saddle?

The only way to be sure is you ask if you can demo them there. Maybe not but it's worth a shot

100%

I upgraded from a buckingham rebellion which is a step up from the buckcat. Then I upgraded again to a treemotion and will never look back

Bridge definitely better than "D"s. Who are you going to see? If you are going to see Pete Rausch, tell him I said "hi". Forget the name of his company now.
