Looking for Help on Building/Buying a log truck.

Looking for a well maintained log truck or tips on building one. I rather just buy one complete, but I have been tossing around the idea of getting a used chassis and having a loader put on it. Must be rear mount, must have decent HP and not a million years old. Located in Southern, NH.
-Any Tips on loader type or make?
-Hp Minimum on truck 400?
-20k front axle 40k rears?
-Perfer a 10 wheeler with a tag axle so it can get into decent places

Jmac industries 66,000 gvw. 18.5 dumpbed with hydraulic tarp system game changer. Chip into and then hit button and load logs on top. Short wheelbase and small enough for urban tree work

A rear mount dump? Amazing! Our problem would be we could only tag it for 54k (36k rear 18k front) do to state weight limits. So that's 12k of gvw lost.. What is the empty weight of this truck?

Better then I thought I think our current loader is just under 31k not too shabby!

I talked to you about this time last year right before I pulled the trigger. Didn't get truck until June but was worth the wait. We love it and so versatile and fast! I think I got 18th truck built. Pretty kool being only few of us using this set up, turns a lot of heads! So far no problems at all. If something comes up or a improvement I'll let you know. I told Jeff Maybe a thick 1/2" hard plastic piece where grapple rest.

Jeff is the owner you would deal with him. Just google Jmac log trucks. It's great because he's the owner and also builds the truck himself
