We are quality oriented and are looking for a climber wth at least 2 years exp.team player no premadonnas,good pay,education opps,tme off,ect.

Paul was an instructor at the Basic Tree Climbing Course offered by the Committee for the Advancement of Arboriculture which I attended in May. He's a great climbing instructor, as were all of the others. I'm sure he's a high-quality employer also. I'd definitely try out his company if I wasn't settled where I am.

I'd also like to recommend the climbing course to anyone, regardless of their experience. I've been climbing since 1998, but I learned a few things that made it well worth it. Besides the learning, it was a great opportunity to meet and interact with a wide variety of people in the field of arboriculture.

The course is held at the Forest Resource Education Center in Jackson, NJ by the C.A.A. (732)833-0325. The course covers:

Basic climbing techniques
Target pruning
Ropes and knots
Chainsaw safety
Electrical Hazard Awareness Program
Tree identification
General tree care
Aerial rescue
First aid and CPR
