Grandkids are getting to the point of outgrowing the Twist saddle they have and I'll soon be looking for the next step. Any suggestions? don't want to break the bank but want a good ride too.

How big (or old) are they?

I've had 10 year olds in a Signing Tree Timber 3D and Petzl Avao Sit. Like the Singing Tree better...

The waist range of 28- 39” on the Timber 3D makes it look like a great one to keep around for a friend or family members. Not one size fits all, but I guess probably around 80% or more of folks.
Looks like a great saddle.

Same boat with our tribe - my 2 cents is a kids full body harness - kids under 40 lbs. have very small hips and if they should go inverted for some reason, story is they can slip out. Actually, even if over 40 lbs, I'd still probably want them in a full body harness till they're 55 - 60 lbs or so.

Lots of different brands of these in climbing stores.
Have fun

Agreed for little ones. I've had both a petzl Simba and Elderid Fraggle as my kids aged. Got in trouble with the wife when our oldest opened up his petzl harness for a birthday present when he was 6! Got the Elderid when he grew out of that. Now they are big enough at 10 and 12 for a saddle...but they still have no hips, so a full body may be best.
