Mike I have a rock exotica micro8 if your interested. Its not a pirhana but its pretty similar. You can lock it off securely and its conviently small. That being said its not great for lengthy decents cause it gets pretty hot. Be open to trade it for like a biner or something small if your interested, unless your set on the pirahna

I am kind of set on the Pirhana as of right now, but appreciate the offer buddy. I like the idea of being able to load the line without taking the 8 off the biner. Should work nicely for controlling the butt on rigging large pieces instead of the munter hitch. Also for spar work on oozing white pine.

Unless the RE micro can pull that off with 1/2" rigging line? Just didn't see any option for that set up in their directions

You can load the line without taking out off the biner but would not be compatible with a half inch rigging line. Just too small

Spurs (Buck Steel) have two holes tapped for screws as pictured. Can mount CMI ascender by drilling two simple holes in ascender. Should line up perfectly.
