Looking for all my tree buddies

Dear, tree buddies

For all my buddies that i have not talked to for 2 years, I'm sorrry, and please forgive me. I am now in Costa Rica/Panama learning about the rainforests/ treee systems here. It's a lot different and crazy. You would not believe the things I have seen here! Let's talk more often!

what part of costa rica/panama are you... spent a couple summers down there surfing, what are those big trees with the little spikes all over the trunks, those things look nasty...

Xman!

Every once in a while a memory of you percolates up out of my brain. So good to hear from you!

don't be a stranger, share some stories about the trees you're seeing.

My tree buddies,

I miss you guys more. Not to mention speaking and writing english! It is amazing how fast you forget certain things and never forget your passion!

I am in the central valley of Costa Rica where the capital San Jose is located. However, CR is the size of the second smallest state of the US. I can say being a tree nerd, this country has some awesome sights and the weather is excellent! Let us keep in touch more often so I can practice my english and share some crazy stories of the "tree workers" that exist here!

Tom, I miss you too buddie, as well as all the threads we use to discuss! Seems like things have slowed down on the boards or everyone disappeared like me!

I bet you do miss speaking and hearing your native language on a regular basis. I bet your spanish has improved dramatically. Do the natives try to adjust to speaking english at all?

We have been on the discussion boards the whole time. Our old stomping grounds, the I.S.A. webboard has come back on line. It's new and may not have the problems the old 1 had.

You're correct. But on this webboard one can find many pictures and accompanying comments about removals. They are fun to look at and read. The dwt is more common than when we discussed it. A few people have posted pictures of it being used but it's still not well known. There are some threads which are gems but you need to look for them.

Dont think I forgot about all my tree peeps! It is not easy to find a computer in the rain forest of C.R. I am trying to get internet service installed in my tree house here in C.R. , In the future we can talk more easily!

Still Hanging Around!

I want to know how you got into the position you are in. Please tel me. That is something I have wanted to do my whole life ever since I found out that it was not physically possible for me to become a monkey when I grew up. So far, I have only gotten as far as climbing trees with chainsaws, which to tell you the truth is a bore.
