Looking for a tree care company in Berlin, Germany

Hi.

I was wondering if any of you know of a tree care company in Berlin? I am looking for a "modern" big company that practice modern climbing/treecare.

Peder, Denmark.

Hi Peder,

i think it`s a bit late, the season for trework is in Germany from October until March....

best regards Christian

Hi Christian.

Thanks for the advice.

I am also planning on going in september....

Where did you work in Denmark?

The reason for me wanting to go to Berlin is that I have heard that they spend a lot of energy on treecare. Am I wrong? I live en Aarhus - the second largest city in Denmark - and treecare is not a high priority around here.

How is Oslo?

Take care!

Peder.

no! i wouldnt try kusche! my advice
i had live in berlin for 19 years know. the firms in berlin who do landscape and/or only arboriculture. kusche dont do good work.
baumlauefer are qual. very good i think.
why berlin?
the south of germany like münchen is quite good for treework!

greets wolf

christian how long are you now in norway and were do you worked in berlin?

Hi Wolf!

Why not Kusche und Partner?

This weekend I have just attended (and past :-) ) the "Certified European Tree Worker" examination and the former owner of Kusche und Partner was present as supervisor. He seemed like a real serious person.
Is Kusche und Partner not doing a good job? Why?

Do you know some good companies in the München area?

Take care!

Peder Dich.

hey peder,

Dietrich Kusche? The old guy with the nice withe hair ! he looks very good for his age :-) serious yes!
but he is the man who established the tree chirugie(steel and beton in trees and so on) in germany, and now he is a examiner in europe.... for the modern treework... maybe. he is a good man he looks good but he is a buisniss man i think... his book "baumpflege heute" is very good.
you dont become money for treework in berlin. it gives no money for everything. the result is = you dont have enough time for your work -> dont work safty -> dont work with a good qualety --> it makes no fun.(i think kusche push the price in the false direction and the work form kusche i have see looks not very good too - the climing technik and the result).
the most good people who make treework go away from berlin.
i have meet the company baumlaeufer last week and they say that one (christian) go to the near of stuttgart in a couple of month.
i have work in Munich for the company " Das Baumteam Nellen" an old firm. the first tree care industry shop in germany i thínk was in this firm very long time ago :-) the boss and the groundman are very own. you still wait for the money a lot of time. but! the guy have the best orders i have ever climbed!

so I hope I could you little help.

her are the list of the Bavarian tree care firms:
http://www.kletterfirmen.de/index.php?Land=Bayern&action=Abschicken

and this is the site with lot of german firms sorted after
regions and some austrian, swiss and netherland firms:
www.kletterfirmen.de

quesiton:
are there some tree climbing compatitions in denmark?

greets -wolf

Not bagging on Christian, but stay away from Nellen. He is fair an all but I haven't heard the best things from the English climbers that have worked there.

We could never come to an agreement on money - he didn't even start at the realm of realism. Plus he is in Diessen, a far spot away from Minga.

If you need a contact for work and are ok with working contract on a gewerbeschein, etc, I have some good contacts. My former contract giver (employer) there is hungry for new climbers but you need the SKT A&B Certs.

PM me if you want his contact info or others in the area.

Ursula Hoerz (Uschi) will take climbers for fair pay but she will drive you absolutely nuts.

Baumhilfe (Ranft) may be another good starting point.

Hey Wolf, do you know a Martin Vogel? He used to have a firm Called Wolf Baumflege in the Karlshrue area.
Just seemed coincidental...

Hey Hey,

Mr Ed:
no i dont know.
the baumwolf.com (prepage online tomorrow) is only a name for my site not my firm name.
so i have found a good writing and reading/speaking name as my homepage includes my personal name Wolf Kutz and my appointment and work.
i hear about a firm near frankfurt named baumwolf.

Nathan and rest :-)
yes a lot of people had and have problems with nellen
and more people know about this problem.
so i have say the problem with the money a bit. but its a fact that nellen have goodlike trees for climb!
i wich firm do you worked in munich nathan? i think you worked in frankfurt am main?

-->Ursula Hoerz (Uschi) will take climbers for fair pay but she will drive you absolutely nuts.<-- dont understand this sentence. O_o

ranft baumpflege is on of the oldest firms at all. i have made the "psa (personal protection equipment) - sachkundelehrgang(special customer training course) with on of these nice guys. in mai (18/19) are the german TCC in gut thansen (north of germany) good adress for meeting people....

Hi.

Thanks for all the replies.
Sorry I haven't answered before, but my girlfriend and I are moving this weekend so I have a lot to do in the evenings.

Wolf - thanks for the two links you gave me. I will take a look at them.
It is pretty´difficult to judge a company only by it's website. I am hoping to find a good company where I can get some more experience on pruning, but it is hard to see wether a company is doing a good job or just practices topping.
I think Baumläufer seems really ok. Do you know how many climbers they are?

Thanks for the help.

Peder.

Yes, there are two.
But one of them leave berlin. http://www.baumlaeufer.de/
phone them and ask. its the easyest way i think. perhaps they can give you some adresses. christian know many people.

(too tiredly to write any more.4000 km drive in the last 6 days to the France TCC)

Yes Nathan no pics from me :-)
I dont have a Digi-Cam.
Its was great. Big Platanus and one big Pine.
Lot of Work-Climb - Stations. Very difficult Throwline-Station(high very high) and a tricky Master-Challange that includes the Arial - Rescue. A lot of competitioners (around the 80s) and lucky weather :-) sunshine the day and raining all the night.
The location was so sweet. At the French Atlantic in a great Botanic-Gardan!
Good Competition!
