Looking for a knee ascender

Amsteel seems over the top and it's very picky, not the cheapest ans just doesn't play nice with debris in general, twin carrier tennex or something of the like comes to mind
Made mine out of 3/8" Amsteel a couple of years ago and it has held up very well. Besides being super strong, the Amsteel is also super light in weight.

To each their own,i use amsteel loopies on a regular, like I stated above .... There are better materials for less money.

I put a webbing sling around mine to keep it in good shape also. I went with 1/4 inch amsteel because it was the smallest size I could get from TS (and just happened to be strong as hell) and I only need like 3 or 4 feet so cost is not an issue for this application. 20170208_181010.webp

View attachment 42772 A TreeBuzz Loaner SAKA going out. Steve first as he has some loose stitches, when his is made better than new this loaner will go to @N.e.Tree if wanted.
Besides, I had to get my new embroidery machine up and running. :bananahappy:
How soon will the new ones be available? Is the climbing innovations site up and going yet? I have a "saka" that i made myself but I like the look of the new one big time and want to give you some of my money! LOL

Yes, the current SAKA is available. Still working on the site among a ton of other things. I'll PM you the info for placing an order, don't need to clutter this thread with my advertising and personal info.

I gave the HAAS a try, had to modify it a bit, and I was very clunky, not smooth and fast like I see others doing with it, but it'll come. Better than hip/body thrusts

One tip from the SRT instructors I have seen is small steps like marching or going up short steps on a sraircase. I'm still not very smooth.

Lawrence's info in "The Shultz Effect" is affordable and great if you like a variety of ideas and techniques.
