I've been holding onto this idea for a while now. It's driving me crazy. But, I wanted to put it out there to see if anyone thinks this is a good idea.
We need live bottom chip trucks with hydraulic gates for chip trucks.
The benefits would be (and not limited to):
If you can back in a location, you could dump it... No worries about over head wires, trees, corners of homes, etc...
There is no risk of tipping over (sideways) on uneven ground.
A bucket truck wouldn't have to lift the boom.
It could be a huge time saver and money saver (with a hydraulic lift gate of some sort) over time. Just one person to drive to the location, back in, and dump.
Who's going to be the first chip body company to design one now?
