Liros splicer pro

Seems nice for larger diameter cordgage. Nothing beats the basket fid and wire fid for climbing lines though. I do however want one of those handled needles!

Use the small cutoff discs to make an elongated slot rather than just drilling a hole, more material will fit into the slot.


Sorry, forgot what was being discussed, small hole is ok for thread. When I first started splicing I used 3/16 x 10" flathead screwdrivers with the slot to bury the tails.
