Today, my 7 yr old and I tried our hand at stop-motion movie making with lego.

when I was in high school a buddyof mine made a stop motion movie of a drag race using our funny car and dragster models...cotton became the smoke...wiggly burnout! We'd hit the camera and take a couple of framse and move ahead. lots of work fun!
