Lego building

Hey, Tom. Check out the expedition vehicles here.

2nd and 3rd from the top...
You could go ANYWHERE!

Uh...UniMogs are the furthest thing from stealth...hahahahha!

I want mine to get me to the end of the road, the begining of the trail or waterway. From there...on my legs! My wliderness time is spent on people power.

If I had my druthers..the Chinook would be my choice. Look at this build:

I found a Chinook nearby for $700. The truck is a '77 so I wouldn't think of doing any repairs. Moving the camper to a current truck makes much more sense.

If the Chinook is still available when I get home from Florida with the Uhaul I might drag it home and start a fun build. The Uhaul truck is more ready to roll.

What's so stealth about a camper body that dwarfs the vehicle?

I get what you're looking for, now that I have seen the link. Sure is more affordable than a Unimog. I think the guy that built that Toyota should have left the walls shiny silver.

I dig the radiant heat flooring, too!

Now that looks more like the Legos I grew up with...no custom pieces, no prebuilt stuff...just straight up blocks. Sweet!

I really am a big fan of legos and building it though I have only done it once, at least in more professional terms. We actually built a small tree setup with just legos and that was really hard to keep up with as you have the trunk arching which makes for a great need of support from all its sides. It is always a moment away from breaking into pieces and good enough it was able to withstand the almost 3 weeks of being put for display.
