is anyone running the trango cinch? i have one in my hands,, i like my adujuster on the left d ring, and feel like this tool would bebetter on the right>?

I use it off my right hip and like it that way. I think I tried it on the left at first and couldnt get it oriented the right way.

you don't need the handle to adjust the lanyard out just squeeze the cinch and it will open up. love that thing on the left dee.

I just got my cinch back up and running. 20 foot of 10mm ocean with a triple lock ISC snap. Mounted left sidewith an AM'D beano.

Cinch is perfect especially when hanging SRT on the lanyard.
SRT tie off with the lanyard gives you much more stability and reach to the outher limbs.

I had some issues with my cinch running the neopro so I am swapping out for some 10mm bee line but I always rock it on the left and keeps saws on the right.

Cinch on right suspension plate on my ergo with a 30' samson prusik cord lanyard. Love it.

Just becarefull of the cinch in the snow. Twice this year I've had mine freeze open.

I have been using a grillion for 6 years now... Love it! My lanyard is 15' with the hook termination. My only gripe would be when the rope starts to get worn or get flat spots, it does not like to feed through the adjuster. I use petzl vector 11mm ( oem ) and it has always done me right. The replacement hook lanyard is pricey but could easily be replaced with basically and 24 strand rope.
