I did. It was about $34500 shipping included for the machine. He deals BMG, TNA, and Klou grapples too so those can be added. He maintains a warehouse of parts and FedEx overnights them to his customers.
I have a similar relationship with my Eliet shredder. Their headquarters is in Philadelphia, but they are even easier to deal with than my local Bobcat. I do all my own maintenance though, which seems to be accounted for moreso in European machines than American ones.
I think a tracked skid would be better. Gotta say, other than snow or mud, really never had any problem with SALWhat are small articulated loaders limitations with slope? Mainly, what kind of slope can they ascend directly, not side-hill and not turning on a slope? It seems that regardless of surface, a mini with tracks probably climbs a steeper incline. I've never operated a SAL, but I have driven lots of mini skid.
Anyone know what a 1550 runs new? This one would be about $39k US with a little under 600 hours on itThat DW is a big machine for not too much more.
It’s been about 5-7 years since I’ve looked at numbers, but back then I think it was in the range of high 40’s low 50’sAnyone know what a 1550 runs new? This one would be about $39k US with a little under 600 hours on it
Thanks for your insight. Snow with an inclined hard surface actually gets sketch on the MT100 pretty quick. I have definitely slid off the tilt trailer before trying to load in snow.I think a tracked skid would be better. Gotta say, other than snow or mud, really never had any problem with SAL
Just met them at the Ohio ISA Conference... miniloaders is located in Cincinnati. (Just 2.5-3 hours down the interstate). Didn't know that. Talked about possibly doing a rental demo of a KM85 or - they recommend a KM100 (says it takes abuse better...but I'm not sure I'd want the extra size). KM100 retails $14K more thanIntrepid is a direct to consumer brand rather than operating dealerships. The owner, Chris Sleurink is super helpful and available for trouble shooting. Their machines are rebranded Knikmops, made in Belgium and used all over Europe. I was impressed with what I learned inquiring with them about their machines. www.miniloaders.com
That's rad you're so close, pretty much a local customer. I like the look of the KM100 too, or even the KM130. The KM85 would work best with my current set-up size-wise though.Just met them at the Ohio ISA Conference... miniloaders is located in Cincinnati. (Just 2.5-3 hours down the interstate). i would look into vermeer. Ditch witch makes a solid machine but there service is terrible (and jesco). Sneaky sales man with sneaky contracts will put a sour taste in your mouthImo DW is the best machine but your best local dealer service is wisest decision because they all break down
Dealer support is the most important thing when purchasing equipment no doubt and Vermeer would be my second choice.i would look into vermeer. Ditch witch makes a solid machine but there service is terrible (and jesco). Sneaky sales man with sneaky contracts will put a sour taste in your mouth
Polar opposite experience for us, Shrewsbury Jesco, crazy how variable it is.i would look into vermeer. Ditch witch makes a solid machine but there service is terrible (and jesco). Sneaky sales man with sneaky contracts will put a sour taste in your mouth
