Height with extendable boom is great for maneuvering into trailer as well as over and around obstacles. No herky jerky movements on pavement with the Avant either. Also like having the forks and bucket for moving stuff around (not trees necessarily) on yards. Mine does surprisingly well in snow unless it’s a steeper slope then not so much.

And just for discussion's sake: Isn't this kinda like saying you like a dump truck better than a pickup for hauling dirt...while everybody else is talking about which pickup truck? I'm not contesting that articulated loaders do the job "better". Just compared to a mini, it seems there is more to it. For example, one use we'd have (and do have - rent a mini as needed) is tree planting. Currently, we can get the mini and a few trees all on a 14' trailer - depending on the number and size of trees, the auger bit and auger attachment either stay on the machine or get put in the back of the pickup. If we had a bigger loader, now we are driving a second truck to the site pulling a second trailer to get the trees there.

You should check the size specs for what unit mini you use versus art loaders specs they aren’t necessarily larger size wise width and length maybe slightly , obviously height they lose everytime with the roll over protection and or cab. Packing more punch in the lifting department they will probably be greater. But the smaller minis outperform smaller art loaders in my opinion

My gripe with most art loaders is they suffer from fat ass syndrome. If your in tight quarters you really have to watch that rear swing. Whereas a mini you're standing on the back so you're seeing the entire machine in front of you.

Intrepid also has the rear-seated steering. If I were to sell my MT100, I would probably buy an Intrepid KM85 for the extremely narrow access that would follow my shredder through 3' gates.
Ouch! FWIW I don’t think I’d go less than a 500 series for tree work in an Avant.
Maybe the L28 and L23 are switched? The L28 usually retails for more because of the tele arm I thought. Thanks for posting your data!

I agree ouch I picked up a 528 for closer to the 423 list price on @Boomslang list but it is Canadian . Aren’t you closer to Finland though lol ..
That’s said if your not heavy removal focused that price looks easiest on the wallet to get into a good nimble loader. I’m familiar with Avant so I’ll lean into them vs other brands though .
I’ve heard intrepids are good never been near one myself there from Belgium I believe . Think there’s a Wisconsin dealer

I tried a new guy out today who had used giants in past at his old company after he got off my Avant today he said it made the giant feel like they were from temu…
And there's a fellow company here who switched from Avant to Giant for similar reasons hahaha
Intrepid is a direct to consumer brand rather than operating dealerships. The owner, Chris Sleurink is super helpful and available for trouble shooting. Their machines are rebranded Knikmops, made in Belgium and used all over Europe. I was impressed with what I learned inquiring with them about their machines. www.miniloaders.com

When I had them both on my job side by side the 1200 tele could not do much compared to 528 except go faster on the street . Little gum logs had its ass up in the air.

I did. It was about $34500 shipping included for the machine. He deals BMG, TNA, and Klou grapples too so those can be added. He maintains a warehouse of parts and FedEx overnights them to his customers.
I have a similar relationship with my Eliet shredder. Their headquarters is in Philadelphia, but they are even easier to deal with than my local Bobcat. I do all my own maintenance though, which seems to be accounted for moreso in European machines than American ones.
