Kretzschmaria duesta / brittle cinder fungus treatment with Trichoderma???

I am looking for any information regarding treatment of Kretzschmaria duesta / brittle cinder fungus treatment with Trichoderma. I have read about this but not much about this actually being done successfully in the field. Any thoughts?

We have been inoculating a clients soil 4 times a year with Tricho. They lost a prized pecan from Kretz, and we are trying to protect the other one.

Possibly pseudoscience, but they asked for us to do anything possible. My company also has no real way to measure effectiveness.

Dried/powder Tricho usually is inactive or a poor strain. You want a suspension.
Here is the product we use.

Based on what I've read Trichoderma is antagonist against many decay fungi.

My concern with treating Kretzschmaria is: how far has the decay progressed before it was discovered and how far will it progress before Trichoderma "wins" the battle (if it does win...)? Don't want to create a false sense of security. But if caught early, certainly worth a try combined with regular monitoring.

100% We reduced this pecan by 10-15%, and the next year, a patch of Kretz showed up.

When I conversed with Chris Luley about this, he said crown reductions (storm damage or pruning) triggering Kretz is a real phenomenon. The water pressure in the tree possibly suppresses it. When you remove foliage, you decrease vascular pressure, and susceptibility may increase.

This patch appeared and grew quickly within a weeks time after discovery. Not sure how long it lingered in the tree before it went 0-60. Canopy was perfect, Kretz trait. We did a RCX and probe, it was extensive, and way too many targets, so it was slated for immediate removal, (not by us).
