Are you not able to use your head sets at all? Or, is it not comfortable? I use my head sets on crane jobs. I'd feel naked without realtime communication with crane jobs.

I just got a new headset. It wont slide into the muff attatchment points far enough. Ive looked at cutting the tab that goes in the slot but I dont think the wire part will let them fit snug if I do that. Still looking to find a way but I dont want to mod anything if Im not positive on the outcome yet.

shave down a little off the bottom of the tabs with a flat file.

Even if I did that I dont think the wire brackets would clear the helmet where they bend to let them fit snug around the ears. I lined them yup to where the tab would bottom out and it doesnt look right. I could be wrong but Id hate to shorten the tabs and find they still dont fit.

I got the valcom to work. This is the peltor muff I got that screws directly to the kask helmet
