Just got my order in today!!!

Well, I just got my order from Sherrill in today and I love all of it. I ordered a Butterfly 2 saddle, my first pair of Atlas gloves, one of their new throw weights, a new Ball Lock, and the Piranha figure 8. Haven't really been able to hang in the saddle yet, but I put my climbing line around a stair well post and leaned back in it. Very nice bridge design, and I like the extra padding. Will post a pic later.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I just climbed in the BF2 and its a very comfy saddle. I was just wondering if there is a way to adjust the leg straps so they don't ride up. That happened to me once today and I'm trying to figure this out. I'll probaly go up again on Saturday or Sunday, as theres rain tommorrow and possibly Saturday too. Any suggestions??? Thanks still working on pics. Tryed to get Dad to take one while in the tree, but didn't get it. Will post a few of just the gear later.

Yeah, just run the end of the leg webbing back through the buckle. (if you feel me). I had the same prob. and this corrected it. Also, don't forget to use loctite on those clevises. Those things kinda bug me out.

Make sure your leg straps aren't loose around your thighs and the buckles are on the outside of your legs. You want the straps going to the bridge to pull up when the saddle is weighted. And like R&T says, double the elastic back through the buckles once you have the lengths set the way you want them.

I'm nervous about those shackles too, I check'em every time I put the harness on... it's just become a habit along with checking the shackle on my ascenders and the knots on my bridge.

Congratulations, you picked a righteous harness.

i had a b2 for about a year and a half, i loved it, but always had this problem, the nice thing about that bridge is that you can undo the clevises and put a rope bridge on there, im not sure if they sell one but i know of a couple of good splicers here on the buzz that im sure could help you out if needed

i remember when i first got the saddle, i had it about 6 months then went to a vermeer show and saw mark chisholm climbing in one, i asked him some questions about his set up and told him that i had only been climbing for 6 months and he basically told me that the saddle was out of my caliper for my climbing skill, i was mad about it at first, then 6 months later i realized how far i had come since he made that statement, then i realized how right he was. enjoy the comfort and if or when you buy a new one, remember back when you first got this saddle and how far youve come since then

or, you may just climb in that saddle the rest of your life, it is that comfortable
