I do the same thing... people have said that some of the stuff I show in video is crazy reckless and lucky, lucky lucky... When most of what they see is just the daily gig, nothing special over here... while the more exceptional cuts and rigging have been archived for some other day, or never got taped int he first place because I didn't want the distraction....
I think anyone with a good head can get there with a little understanding of the basics and some time to experiment... Few have the desire... mostly if you;re the boss... you;re too bust running the business to play with chainsaws and if you;re the employee there is little upside to balance the risk of losing your job if something goes wrong... You;re not getting paid to take those kind of chances, so why bother learning...
