Jaboticaba Fruit Tree?

We recently came across this stunning tree in Yandina Queensland. We suspect it might be a Jaboticaba Fruit Tree, however we are unsure. It seems to grow it's red fruit on it's trunk. Do you know what it could be? Please comment below

Your images are not working. Is the fruit red or purple? I had one in Hawaii and they are pretty tasty and quite unique. Try to fix you image links and we might be able to give you a more positive answer

Sorry they should be there now...the fruit is red.

Strange to me. My tree never got red like that. The fruit went from green to a very dark, almost black. My leaves were also a lot shorter and more rounded. Might be a hybrid and hopefully someone else can chime in and help you out
