Its hot in Texas

It's been a scorcher. We have mostly been doing removals too. No fun when all the shade is gone by the time the heat really starts kicking you. All gear and clothes reek in a horrible way. We still have two or three months of it too.
 
I don't know how you guys do it. It's been hot here as well lately but nothing like Texas. I started wearing my camel -bak again, it's been a real lifesaver.
 
workin in toledo, its been 90-98 in the afternoon hours. its sucks when everything is hot enough to cook an egg on. it hurt just to hold the lowering ropes.

Down south here in Austin its even hotter than way up north in DFW

Having synthetic clothes sure helps! I've been wearing my new Arborwear Canopy pants along with the AW undies and t-shirt. Wow! I'm still hot of course but at the end of the day I don't feel hungover because my body has been cooled during the day.

It's been in triples for a week and is forecast for at least through Weds.

I miss the lakes and rivers of Minnesota. The water flow out of the aquifer has reduced the flow in the creeks and rivers substantially.
 
Oregon summers/fall look like tree work heaven!!!!!!! But i'm a little skeptic of the rainy season?

Swamp @$$ TN weather has been disgusting. Soaked with sweat by 10am.

Breaking records left and right.
 
Its not normally this bad,I have a feeling this is gonna go down as one of those epic hot summers.like 98 and 80.Oh well I just need to man up and quit whining about it.It is what it is.
