I put this video together really quick yesterday and I am second-guessing myself on this one - do you guys think this looks ok to send to clients or does it look super cheesy?

-Also I had some comments on another thread about not responding to messages here. I am sorry I will try harder I have been super busy but I will make a better effort.

As often as you can shoot with the sun at your back. Shooting into the sun makes for dark, unclear shots.

Learning how to compose shots helps too. THere is likely some online stuff for now.

Plan your shoot with story boards.

You might designate one person, who is interested, as the videographer on every job. Then work out some sort of filing system so that you know what you have taken when its time to do a promo vid.

You seem to take great pride in your equipment choices, and that’s a good thing. If this video is for potential clients, I would focus less on the technical names of the equipment, and focus on why you bought it- safety, low impact work, efficiency. Let your voice over emphasize what’s important to them and how your team is equipped to deliver on those values.

I would cut out the part about using mats to protect the lawn then proceed to blow apart the tree on said lawn.
For me if I am taking time to layout mats on a nice lawn, it's leave no trace all the way, rig the limbs and wood down, build a log deck to flop the spar log onto.
Where are you located Hamms?

Thank you for the advice that makes a lot of sense :)
