Wow. This is crazy. I can think of other states I wouldn't be surprised with this... But, Wisconsin?

That is freaking insane!!!! If someone ever tells me to take my American Flag down, there pretty much going to have to come kick my as*. I couldn't imagin the day one would sit in jail for not taking down the flag of the U.S.A.... what a freakin world!!!!!
 
That has been a hot topic around here for a couple of days now. I am not impressed with the apartment complex..... after listening to the radio shows talking about this subject, I am not alone.

When they signed the lease they signed onto the whole works. If the bylaw applies to the other three items it has to apply to the flag...until the bylaw is changed.

Step back and look at this. There are all sorts of '...flags, banners and political or religious materials.' that I'd rather not see around.

Huh, I guess Wisconsin is as unpatriotic as those other states you were thinking of. What states are those anyway?

Okay. You asked for it... Would it be fair to say that a majority of the "blue states" would come up with stuff like this?

I know for certain, there are cities in Colorado, that I would not be surprised to see something of this matter. In fact, it did happen in a public library shortly after 911.

I'm trying not to step on toes with this...

I think living in those types of covenant communities would suck. Although, I get more worked up about them not allowing people to hang dry their laundry. Thats because I like air dried laundry. I feel like if people make the choice to live in a fascist community thats their problem. Kind of defeats the purpose of living in America IMO.

Blanket statements and generalizations are not a good way to go. In my little "blue" state we fly the flag with great pride. Don't forget we are one of the original states and helped to get the revolution started.

Within some reason, I"d think that a generalized statement is much less offensive than calling out one individual or state...

Sure, you posed it in the form of a question but it is obviously a rhetorical question. If you only had one state in mind that would have been worded much different. You made a blanket statement about what you call "blue states" and you made implications about what you would expect from people in those states with regards to the American flag.

You said it, now own it.
