if you are bored and want something to watch, worth a couple of laughs

Man, poor fella. Probably a really nice guy. And there's nothing wrong with "old school", as long as you can recognize and fix the mistakes. No hardhat, no eyes, no ears...spikes kicked out and slid down the trunk about 8'...face was bleeding at the end of the vid. Small tree at the beginning of the vid went the wrong way. Could've ruined his arm with that limb he was lowering at the top of the tree. Looked like he was dropping that final spar on a chainsaw but not sure. Anyway, kinda amazing this dude is still alive but God bless him.

The videography was actually good but just maybe not the best subject in the world.

That fence looked pretty busted up even though he said nothing got broke. Really great videography. The guy seems like he loves life, but I hope he finds another career path for his sake. He won't live long doing what he's doing.

If you listen to the narrative - to the story; listen to the sound only the story is not unusual. There's a bloke, a bloke nice enough to let his nephew do a film project, who likes his job. That's common in arboriculture - a nice person who likes what they do... It's the imagery that causes the consternation. In a way it's a mirror for the industry to look at itself - because he does say he's a certified arborist; and he puts in a plug for the ISA.

He kept a straight face because the cumulative effect of his experience is that he believes that the way he does things is normal. So how did the Tree Guy deviate so much from what we would regard as normal? How did the Tree Guy deviate so much from what a certified arborist is supposed to look like? There's actually serious questions for the industry in this film. 'Hey arboriculture... have you met arboriculture?'

At one point (6:20) he does state his limits and suggests that you get a tree company if it's more than that. It is a statement on the industry about where we were and where we are. The question is where do we want to go?

I know evrybody is calling him out on his bad habits but the way he presents him self and his love for what he does, just makes him a tree guy in one of the purest form. Really liked the video gives me hope for more people like this ,even if he is a little crazy

for watchability this is far superior to anything made by August, Bixler, Shultz, X Man, Reg or Old Murph

Well opinions are like assholes and yours stinks.

TreeLogic, you feel you want to defend the names I mentioned above, that's ok.

The simple fact remains that August, Bix, X man, Schultz, Reg and Murph have not created a better video than this one, that's my opinion and I'm right.
