Ice winching

High winds last week blew large ice pan against the steel pilings underpinning this dock......bent them enough that the tenons on the posts were getting leveraged out of their pockets in the timbers supporting the roof. Bad.
Used two gas capstan winches and a honking big 12V winch. Lotsa MA.
And it worked! Took all day though...
Hardest part was packing everything back up 35+ stairs to the trucks.

Still had about 6" of clear ice underneath 6" of the iffy stuff, Devon! (Lake of Bays).
@ Mike - used 4' - 5' lengths of 6"x6"

We were straightening the bent steel piles. 3 winches weren't gonna several million tons of ice.
