Ice storm

Me and one of my crews are heading off to do some storm work(ice storm)looking for some advice if anybodys gots some.also would appreciate prayers from any of my brothers in Christ.

2. If ice takes off 70% or more of the crown of the tree, it may still be saveable. Just cut back to the first undamaged lateral, forget the "rules" and never mind the size. You can even cut to a bud, per ANSI.

Just got a call from my brother and his crew of misfits who just arrived in St. louis area and they said that most of the stuff is on the ground that it's a matter of chipping it for disposal and there is a lot of damage already there that is on the ground for clean up.
 
I was chit chatin with a group of buds that are helpin out with clean up and they too have to say along with me good footwear(spikes of some kind) good clothes that wick away sweat and are water proof, from some experience a hammer or something to chip ice off the trunks to get a cut started on a main trunk (helps in not haveing ice flying all over the place and in eye areas when cuttin.
