I would love to see a break test on this.Ditto, love my Rooks. I got one on the bridge of my 2 saddles and got a 3rd that I sometimes use on a lanyard with stopper knots, kinda cool to use bulk hitch cord without having big knots. That’s the only pic of it I can find, but now it’s got 8mm Beeline with a distel hitch.

This makes me wish I hadn't sold mine. What a cool idea.Ditto, love my Rooks. I think I bought one from you. Curious where you got it from, it’s the only gray one I’ve seen, the color looks great on my Ergovation bridge. Usually the Rook is that ugly institutional green color or could buy the Hydra which is orange. As far as I know the color and words branded on the pulley is the only difference between the Rook and Hydra. This makes me wish I hadn't sold mine. What a cool idea.

I agree that the hitch would probably skip first, but after that I'm curious if the rope breaks or the stopper knots pull through the holes.I think I bought one from you. Where would you think it would fail? I’m thinking the hitch cord or rope would break before the rigging plate. The hitch would slip if loaded too much, so if they put a stopper knot in the rope to force it to break, I guess it’d break at one of the stopper knots, but I’m just guessing. The pulley and swivel don’t really see much load in this manner. If the Rooks on my bridges ever fail inspection, I’ll put a lanyard together and see if Arbsession will break it.
I got it from another member on here but I don't remember who. I didn't like it on my bridge initially because it was too responsive to turning side to side compared to what I was used to, and the holes were too tight with the grommets. I'm enjoying the California swivel because it has slightly more friction and has bigger holes, even though it is like having a brick on my bridge hahaI think I bought one from you.
