I love groundies!

I imagine nearly every climber on here started as a groundie, and if you didn't you should do it, even if only to gain perspective. A good groundsperson is almost as valuable as a good climber and I am so grateful to have guys who know what they're doing. They can see things I may not have noticed up in the tree because they're viewing things from a different angle or make suggestions I hadn't thought of to make things run smoother. I may be higher paid and receive more recognition than they do, but I'd be fairly useless without them.
 
Actually, I am too big for my britches. I blame the beer, pastrami sandwiches and late night snacks. So, I've stopped the late night snacks.
