Husqvarna 3120xp questions

I ordered a 3120xp powerhead today. It'll be set up for .404 chain. I'm thinking I want to go with a 48" bar for felling and big stumps. What brand bar would you guys recommend based on experience with bars greater than 36"?

It'll also eventually be the powerhead for an Alaskan Mill. I'm thinking of going with a Granberg mill. I'm open to the pros and cons of this as well.

Mine seems to pull a 3/8 chain better, I have a 72" bar and get good results. You cant go wrong with Oregon, they make them for a lot of the companies that put their name on it. Wish you were closer, Id sell you my 56" mill, way too much work.

What Jerad said, I've got a 48" Oregon bar on mine, and a cannon 42", both run 404 chain. No complaints of either of them, only use the 3120 10-15 times a year for things the 395 can't handle.

I have a 42" that I'm running 3/8 on. Best prices I've found on bars and pre made loops were at loggerchain.com
