Has anyone used the new husky 564 injected saw? What are your thoughts?

It's not in the same league as the 500i. It's a 60cc saw. Almost as light as a 550 with the umph of a 572/372.This is the first I've heard of it, but I am very interested in a review by anyone here. I am really curious how it compares to the legendary 400i and 500i.
What’s the 400i??This is the first I've heard of it, but I am very interested in a review by anyone here. I am really curious how it compares to the legendary 400i and 500i.
Am I tripping? Is that not a thing? What’s the 400i??
I was definitely mistaken for a good long while then. Thanks for clearing that upThe Stihl 400.1 is not a fuel injected saw. It is the latest version of the 400 cm which had a magnesium head and felt very much like a Husky, which is a good thing. The 400 was a fantastic midsize with grunt and bottom akin to a Husky. Probably my favorite Stihl to date. The newer 400.1 is all about weight vs power ratio which means more fucking plastic which usually result in a less durable saw.
If Stihl was smart they would make a 200T like fuel injected top handle saw (a mini 500i). Do this and they would own the climbing arborist saw market for the forseeable future.Ok, that makes sense. I have on and I can attest to that. Love it.
But the concept of a 400i sounds dope!!
STIHL!!! ARE YOU LISTENING?!??????!!!?
Climbing saws are getting smaller, the echo 2511 is the best selling topper in the UK these days.If Stihl was smart they would make a 200T like fuel injected top handle saw (a mini 500i). Do this and they would own the climbing arborist saw market for the forseeable future.
I wouldn’t be surprised if it was already in the works. I don’t know anything about designing and manufacturing saws, but I can’t imagine making a fuel injected system for something smaller like a top handle is easy. Although, the concept may be simple…If Stihl was smart they would make a 200T like fuel injected top handle saw (a mini 500i). Do this and they would own the climbing arborist saw market for the forseeable future.
I’ve had a 400 for awhile it’s not fuel injected but it’s a great saw!Am I tripping? Is that not a thing?
I can see why ! I was cutting with a heavily modded 2511 today and hand no desire to pick up anything anny other top handle after using that thing.Climbing saws are getting smaller, the echo 2511 is the best selling topper in the UK these days.
Sorting out the 150 so it can compete should be their priority.
