So I buy alot of saws on ebay and repair them and never ran into this problem ever.
2013 Husqvarna 395xp.
Guy stated it will run but not rev.
Before I put any parts on it, this is what it did.
Cold start, choke it 2-3 pulls half start. Turn choke off, starts and idles fine like it should. Then throttle it and it dies. It doesn't bog down, it just doesn't. Everytime.
So since I was thinking of keeping this saw, I put new used oem cylinder and new meteor piston and rings. The cylinder it came with had broken fins. But I replaced with better one. And I bought new oem carburetor. Put it back together and same problem. So i read about the tank vent. Actually it was not hooked up right and missing the green plug. So when on partstree and bought the whole new vent system. Replaced that, along with spark plug, fuel line, and fuel filter. Put it back together and same problem. Coil looks brand new but not sure if it's aftermarket or oem. The on off switch does have some play. I was gonna change the switch, coil with new oem and coil ignition wire from coil to switch. Other then that I am stunned. I don't have a vacuum tester but might buy one of those too. Any suggestions?
