I think I would travel with my lock box and leave it overnite. Usaually way to tired to take my boots off at the end of day let alone bike home with a pile of gear.

I used to own a bike trailer like treebing's...they're made by Bikes at Work Inc., and they are remarkable little cargo mules. Any tree climber who appreciates quality metal craftsmanship would be enamored with these aluminum wonders...lightweight, 400 lb. capacity (if you can pedal that hard), and an ingenious hitch design that makes for a smooth, quiet ride when you're haulin'.

I sold mine to a guy that roasts coffee and delivers it all via bicycle around town. Wish I'd had more use for it...
