How do you set to ropes with one throw?

Just wondering if anyone knows how to set 2 climbing lines in different crotches with just one throw of the throwline? Cormac(not sure if thats how you spell his name) came to the texas comp last year and was allowed to take a run at the masters just for fun and I remember people saying he set 2 climbing ropes in different crotches with just one throw. Anyone know how he might have done that?

Yes, two throw lines!.

I scored 20 points in a climbing comp throwline event with one throw and got two ropes in the top two scoring crotches. It can be done!

Its a lot easier, if one rope is set below the other. The first throwline is lowered and connected to another, which is pulled up and dropped throught the second crotch.

You then have two lines in two crotches with one throw. Simples.

It makes life simpler if the two lines are different colours!!

Shoot your line clear over 2 crotches.

Pull throwbag up over one so it drops back down in the middle, to form an "M".

Then tie lines on each outside leg of the "M"

Pull them both up from the middle "V" part of the "M"

That should give you 2 separate lines set from one shot!

i'd like to see that trick in a tree where you would actually need two ropes. i believe i could handle the tree in the diagram by myself.:)
