Horrible Review!

Someone left a horrible review on my company's Facebook page that never happened. The lady is from Ohio and we are in Wisconsin. I've tried to contact the person on Facebook who wrote the review but I get no reply back. Has anyone else experienced anything like this? Is this maybe some kind of political propaganda? Or do you all think this really happened to her and she just has my business confused with some hack with the same name?

Have you reported the post to fb? I'm not sure on fb's policy, but most reputable review sites like Yelp and Trip Advisor are prompt in removing false reviews. Otherwise unscrupulous types could game the reviews which negates the usefulness of the service to their customers.

Unfortunately this isn't always the case, some businesses are set up to extract money from businesses over bad reviews even if they are phoney (like rip off report.)
 
Yeah I reported it but haven't heard anything back. I did not like the way you are allowed to report things on Facebook. I wasn't able to put in any comments or an explanation when I reported it.
 
There sure isn't, but it still doesn't correct the negative review if someone doesn't read the comments that are under it.
 
I have had that happen because a neighbor didn't like us parking in front of his house. The process for fighting bad reviews is painstaking at best. If nothing else just know your good name will shine through, and explain to nay sayers "you can't please everyone".

You could start searching for photos of horse's asses, and tag her on them. Pizzas delivered every 15 minutes, starting at 2am.. there are endless options to make a point.

Yeah, me too! That was my wife's reply. I wanted to go ape shit but... We'll see how it goes with this for a bit then I'm letting that lady know how I really feel. My wife's a marking manager for a very big corporation and asked me to let her handle it. So I am, for now.

Seems to me like she'd get along great with hipsters. I'm thinking have a few kegs delivered to her front yard then post that's there's a trump rally after party at her house on Tuesday night next week with FREE BEER. Should draw a nice crowd of her favorite people.

That sucks.

I reported her review, clicked the button that said it didn't have anything to do with the page. Maybe if enough people do that something will happen?
