Home birthing hippies

That's the truth, Levi! We've been blessed with 2 healthy home deliveries, but there is definitely a place for medical intervention. In fact, our oldest was one push away from a c-section. How many do you have now? We're about to welcome number 4.

Congrats!! Blessings on the delivery (and remainder of the pregnancy). Just be sure to have him three days early. The 15th is a good day. ;)

She's doing really well, thanks, standing up and being goofy now. She's hilarious.

Levi-is an emergency c more gnarly than a normal? That's the reason or no vbac? Bummer bro, congrats and good health with number 2! Wild ride.

Lily is here! At ten and a half lbs she was more of a challenge than the rest, but that just meant I got to be a more active participant- enough so that my wife isn't offended for me to say I helped deliver. (She feels strongly about the difference between delivering and catching.)

There is nothing like getting hands-on in the birth of your child. No tree I've ever climbed comes close.

Thanks, Levi.

An edit to my announcement- the scale measured in tenths, so it was not 8 ounces but a little over 12.

Thanks, Mac. To everyone, your kind words have been passed on to my wife, who appreciates the support.

This time we have a lot of help from my wife's twin sister, so she actually gets to live out every mother's wish that there were two of her.
