Hi Treebuzzers,

I'm proud of what we're building here: a great place to work for talented people passionate about tree work. Come join our like-minded team OR please pass this along to someone you know (we've trained a lot of folks from other professions!).

Location: Chapel Hill, NC.

-Our consultants are top climbers (we're willing to lend a hand on any job we bid - or misbid!)
-Our office staff is sympathetic and awesome (they feel as bad as anyone if a crew has had a long day)
-We take learning, training, and improvement seriously (I'm a BCMA, and we've got several CAs and TRAQ folks)
-I think we've got a great culture (we're seeing a lot voluntary shop use, climbing, informal competitions, etc. happening outside of work)
-Our clients and community love us (it's why we need to grow!)

We are looking for:
- Entry Level Person (no exp. required)
- Experienced Ground Person
- Climber w/Some Experience
- Experienced Climber / Crew Leader
- Experienced Bucket Truck Operator
- Invasive Plant Control Technician

*See our daily work on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/the_treeist/

*If you've not considered being an arborist: https://www.thetreeist.com/arborist

NEXT STEPS:
1st. Fill out an online application: https://www.thetreeist.com/employment-application

2nd. Local applicants should come to the January 15th Saturday Open House and meet us in person once they've completed the online application (go to TheTreeist.com/Saturdays for directions)

3rd. Out-of-State applicants should email once they've completed the online application

Must Haves:
- Positive attitude
- Clean driving record, driver's license, and vehicle (no DUI in the past 5 years)
- Ability to drive a vehicle with a standard transmission (or ability to learn how to within 3 months)
- Strength and health in body and mind
- Availability to work 7AM to 3PM Monday through Friday

-Craig

Invasive Plant Control Technician?: is that the same as a Weed Pulling Specialist? Lol
All joking aside good luck in your search.

Oh, I should explain: that unusual position is for a separate company we're building to fill an unsolved tree-related problem in our area. We're putting together a sister company to help our clients out with all the invasive stuff growing on their properties. It'll also specialize in any tree planting, and some PHC that isn't a perfect fit for The Treeist. It's actually fairly knowledge intensive, but the folks who come to the Treeist tend to be drawn to the aerial arboriculture stuff.

Awesome company!!! If I lived closer I’d be tempted. The Saturday hangouts are great- I’ve been twice and hope make it biweekly from now on.

I met a couple of your guys at a recent TRAQ course. They represented your company well, and it was a pleasure meeting them. Hopefully I’ll be able to come hang out one day if we ever travel through. Good luck in your search!
