Friendly Tree Service is looking to add new arborists to our team. We are in search of experienced arborists who have a passion for tree care. Position will involve pruning, cabling/bracing, removals and general tree and shrub care on residential and commercial properties.

Qualifcations:
  • Proper chainsaw use and safety
  • Knowledge of proper pruning and tree trimming
  • Current driver's license. CDL preferred
  • Minimum of two years climbing and bucket truck operation, experience.
  • Prior work experience in the tree care and or landscape industry
  • Know how to correctly and safely remove trees
  • HS Diploma or GED
  • Maintain a professional image at all times
  • Ability to follow the ANSI standards for tree care
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Degree in Forestry or Horticulture
  • Certified Arborist
  • First Aid
  • EHAP
  • CPR
  • Current CDL with air brakes
  • Crane removal experience
Responsibilities:
  • Run crew and take on leadership role
  • Communicate professionally with clients
  • Report equipment problems and in need or repair
  • Inspect and maintain equipment
  • Assess situation and any safety risks
  • Assist with keeping a safe work environment
  • Operate bucket truck, log truck, brush chipper, stump grinder, and loader
