Highway through Hell

Discovery Channel is hosting a new show called Highway through Hell. So far it has caught my attention with so much cool rigging, human resource dynamics, probably a few things to learn.

It is interesting watching how they rig things. Even with good gear they still need to find unique approaches to a lot of situations.

The main highway they work on is one I've driven about a hundred times, and it can be every bit as bad as they make it look. Not that it's a badly constructed road but the weather and drivers make it what it is.

Watch out for the details. Types of chains used, wire rope, size of blocks, where the slings are installed. How about the safety protocol being used? I'm hooked.
