My solution for a 90' limb-drag with a 5 foot retaining wall in the middle. there was no way around the retaining wall, and I was dreading this job for a week until I thought of this.

I didnt realize how bad my camera placement was (GoPro attatched to the line), so sorry about that.

I had my kernmaster as the main line from a maple below to the top of an upright birch log (from that same job) that was secured on the far side of the trailer up above, so when the limbs got up to the top, they would practically flip up and into the trailer. I had my hitch climber going back and forth, with a haul line running through a pulley at the trailer, and throwline as haul back. The limbs were attatched with loop runners. I thought this was a pretty neat deal, and I wish I had gotten some pics of the setup at the trailer.

What do you guys think? This was my first time doing anything like this, what can make it better?

Wow, I am glad I am finally putting some of the stuff I learned here into practice well enough to impress some of the same people who first showed me!

The neighbor of the house I was at turned out to be my AP Biology teacher at the highschool. At the beginning of class that monday, she was telling the whole class about "a sweet zipline-thing that a guy was using to haul limbs from my neighbors back yard, up a rock wall, and into a trailer." She was really impressed with the whole operation, but I never told her it was me, because I doubt she would've believed me. Oh well.

Thanks again guys!

Well, it's not like you couldn't break out video proof. :) Either way, I bet you had a nice grin on.

Rereading this thread has given me an idea, I think I'll toss a post up in rec, so as not to hijack.
