Hello,
It's been hellish hot in Japan this year and the location of this job, just a little south of Tokyo, was no different. It was an interesting few days though, enough to inspire me to try a little write up about it, which I'll post a link to. The system was something that i've played around with a little and it was good timing to put it to a test. Which I'm happy to say went smoothly. Having so many ropes inside the working area may seem bonkers to some climbers but I felt due to the nature and size of the tree having multiple positioning options warranted it.
